Hired Richard to replace a 65+ year old garage door and I could not have been more satisfied with his company services. Communication throughout was timely, installation was exactly as expected, and price was very, very competitive, which allowed me to get a better quality door. My garage is actually a comfortable temperature now having a well insulated door. And the door itself is beautiful. Plus the garage door opener is fast and super quiet.
Everything about the experience was flawless and I will be returning to get a screen for my garage in the future.

Richard was able to come fix a broken torsion spring the same day. Pricing was reasonable and fair, and he was very knowledgeable about his work. He not only changed the spring, but also the bearings on the spring shaft. The garage door is now the quietest it’s ever been. I doubt most other repairman would have bothered to make this additional fix to actually improve the function of the garage door. To top it off, he also threw in a garage door seal that replaced my undersized one. Professional, neat, and trustworthy. I would give 10 stars if I could.

I needed a new motor on my garage door opener. Richard was referred to me and was I glad! He made sure I knew when he was on the way to my house. when we met, he was extremely professional and pleasant. He installed the new unit and the job was completed to my satisfaction. He also helped me sync up my car controls with the new garage door opener. He told me about the option to get the free MyQ app so I could make sure that my garage door was closed when I leave. That is always an awful feeling when you’re not sure you closed it and you’re miles away. No chance of that now! That alone was worth the money! I was very satisfied and would recommend him highly. One of the best home service experiences I have had!!

My garage door spring broke after 9 years and 5 months (which was probably close to the 10,000 use life cycle), so I called Richard on a Friday evening, and he came out Saturday morning at 9am. He was on time, professional, changed out both springs, checked and replaced the end bearings (which did not sound good), lubed the springs, rollers, hinges, and even screwed a metal brace (free of charge) on the bottom of the door to prevent a crack from getting worse, in about an hour and 15 minutes. He did excellent work, and his prices were competitive. I would definitely call him again if this happens again.

I have this guy’s number saved in my phone after the first time Richard serviced on my garage door. Richard is responsive, communicative and knows his garage doors VERY WELL. It was unfortunate that we have to call him a couple times to fix our garage doors (let’s be clear, it wasn’t his doing at all) but glad we did because I am never going to have another guy come and look at my garage door for as long as I live in the Bay Area. We needed 2 garage door openers. I left a message and Richard called back immediately. He came out the next day to give us an estimate. Richard is very knowledgeable and his price was fair. He came back the next afternoon and installed 2 side mount openers. The installation was quick and neat. His communication was excellent.
